Then, the mother wanted to go shopping so we did. (Have I mentioned lately how much I freakin' love Kohl's? LOVE and ADORE them, thank you very much. I've been on a shoe-buying kick for summer the past two weeks and I think I've gotten not only some righteous deals but some kick-ass foot fashion to replace my ailing summer supply. I will have to share these in another post.)
When we got home it was about 95 -- not very conducive to yard work so I thought I'll wait til about 5ish. Uh-huh.
This was the sky at a little after five.

Nope, I didn't get my yardwork done, either. But sounds like your day was a lot more profitable in spite of that.
I've never visited a Kohl's. They're fairly recent here and took over many of the old Mervyn's stores. But you piqued my interest with the shoes. I used to find a lot of good shoes at Mervyn's and I miss the chain. Maybe I'll try Kohl's. Shoe buying has become such a chore since I stopped buying leather. So I'm always looking for decent, cheap (as in "non-leather") shoes.
