Tonight's Agenda

Is there such a thing as actually living in a house? Seems all I’ve been doing lately is living for one.

Tonight is another trip to The Home Depot to buy still more cement. I’ll probably sneak in a household “living” supply run while I’m at it, so Ladybird should be good and stuffed on the ride home. Regardless of what I do or where I go tonight, one thing’s for sure: I’ll be wearing a jacket. Or at least a sweatshirt. I think our high was 67 degrees and as it’s now dark shortly after 7, it will be quite a bit cooler by the time I take my trip.

I envy those of you who still have our “highs” as your “lows.” This whole autumn thing just is not appealing to me at all. Here’s hoping winter will be a late arrival – and mild when it does show up.

I love autumn. It's my most favorite season. I'm a Goldilocks. I want all day all year to be "just right" but only autumn comes close to that.

As someone from the mighty midwest, who has suffered through an unseasonably cool summer, this change is coming too quickly. Honestly, if this weather pattern keeps up, we won't be able to afford to live here anymore ;-)

I love fall and spring. But here the temp. changes fast. You have to turn the heat on in the morning and the air on in the afternoon. I like it when I can just leave the windows open all day .

Kay -- We'll have to agree to disagree on that one!

Debbie -- So glad you are back in business and that your persistence finally paid off.

Jean M -- Thanks. It seemed to have worked so far. Now if we could just get the RAIN to stay away on those warmer days!

Why --I enjoy the changing colors but the cold, damp, early darkness and piles of leaves ... you can have!

MG -- Tell me. We're going to need the furnace soon. It's nuts.

Karen -- Nice idea. Even if we could open the windows, my allergies would never allow it!
