Rainy Days and Mondays

You may feel a real need to get moving today, NV. Almost everyone can prefer quiet activities, books, art, and even just sitting around to physical activity at times. By not being too active, though, your health may suffer. Fresh air, exercise, and sunshine are vital to your well-being. Today, when you feel the urge to get up and do something active, don't resist! Chances are you'll really enjoy yourself.

This is my e-mail horoscope for today. My response to this? Bite me.

Yeah. Someone did get up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Of course, someone did well to get out of bed at all! I don't think there's more than two square inches on my entire body that don't hurt in some way. I pushed all weekend and I'm feeling every bit of it today.

I forgot to mention that during the installation of the range hood on Saturday, it shifted and one of the front corners crashed down directly onto my lip! It's split, a little puffy and tender, but as OK as you can expect after having 35 pounds fall directly on your lip. Thank God it didn't hit my teeth or I'd be missing a few, or at least parts of a few.

And, of course, it has to be raining today. Make that every day. Every day this week. At least it had let up long enough earlier for me to get the rest of the trash out. (Another Monday joy.)

I saw an ad for some kind of new Icy Hot wrap. Wondering if I couldn't just completely cover myself in it, mummy style.

Oh, my, I feel your pain! But your body is a lot younger than mine. But I was thinking of you as I tackled some very small DIY projects at my house this weekend.

I'm so out of shape that I'm sore from sitting on the garage floor painting 6 shelves. I can't WAIT to be UNpregnant! Good luck on your project.

I feel your pain. I stood on various edges in the bathroom all weekend stripping wallpaper, wallpaper backing and finally the sticky wallpaper glue. Then I got the bright idea to mud all the holes... Surprisingly, I'm not dying today. Looks like we both had narrow escapes this weekend.

Oh misery, and your poor lip - OUCH! Pile on the Motrin and I hope you feel better soon. The kitchen is looking fab!

Thanks everyone! The lip is better, and after some much needed sleep, the rest of me doesn't feel too bad either! :-)
