Clearly, Mother Nature didn't get a calendar for Christmas. I know it happens, but it's just not supposed to look like this a full week into spring. My neighbor's just-blooming flowers look oddly out of place, don't they?
This photo was from early this morning. At least now it is already going away.
I think we got between 2 and 3 inches at most. The sun came out a little while ago and between it, and a slowly rising temperature, the snow should soon be a remnant.
Works for me.

Reminds me of right before my 16th birthday back in Michigan. I was all set to take my driver's test, and then it snowed! Fortunately it had mostly melted by the time my test came around, but I was worried for a while.
Today here in California it's in the 60s and 70s, the sun is shining, the flowers are blooming, so life is good.
I woke up at 2:30 this morning when the power went out and the thunder was rolling. It was snowing so hard, that I kind of got excited about being "trapped" for a day. Honestly, I was kid of disappointed when I got up and saw what little snow we really got.
I guess I'm just weird!
I'm just glad it's GONE! And here's hoping we see no more of it 'til next winter.
