How did that happen? Wasn’t it Friday like five minutes ago? Tell me I’m not the only one struggling with this.
I’m still worn from yesterday and it’s really cold this morning (20 with wind chills in the teens), so my motivation level is low. Besides the brisk temperature, one thing that helped wake me up today was driving through town. I drove to the central bus depot because I need to make some stops on the way home tonight.
That meant I got to go through my town’s restoration district where the triplet houses live. I got to see my favorite while also delighting in some of the big old homes that people have either kept up through the years or that have gotten some much needed TLC in more recent times.
It’s always so heartening to see people breathing life back into these beauties. I’ll try to post some photos this month.

I think everybody feels the same way you do about the disappearing weekend. Almost all of my friends who work Monday through Friday had a hard time this morning.
For a Monday after a long vacation and still being off work, I got up incredibly early this morning. I doubt that will happen again tomorrow!
