A non-professional,faux home improvement blog dedicated to the insane yet diligent do-it-yourselfer,thoroughly peppered with random views and thoughts from me
Now that the rain has finally passed, we spent just a bit today putting a few decorations outside. I hope the whole TWO trick-or-treaters we’ve had so far really appreciated them!
And whatever you’re doing or did this evening, I hope it was fun. Just make sure to keep that Jack-o-lantern lit.
I love your decorations! Those keys are really cute. The mice and a plastic jack-o-lantern (which I forgot to plug in before I left for work tonight) are the extent of mine.
I was REALLY shocked at the low number of kids we got this year in our subdivision. I only bought 2 bags & thought for sure we'd run out, but we quickly started handing out multiple pieces & still have about 1/2 bag left. In years past, we'd get van loads of kids coming in from a few apt. complexes nearby. Maybe they found a better quality of candy somewhere else, LOL.
More evidence of brain sharing - I have the exact same keys on my doors! Of course, your have been embellished a bit. We didn't have many kids at all and they all got handfuls of candy from the crazy blue-haired lady!

Looks great. We had lots of kids all at once than no more. I have way to much candy left. Wish I had of gave out more but last year I ran out.
I agree - love the decorations!

Jayne -- Thanks! We didn't put a lot up which made for a really quick and easy takedown on Sunday, too.
Karen -- Thank you! It's really hard to gauge, isn't it? We never know from year to year whether it will be 0 or 25.
Kate -- Yep. You just never know. It seems to be a tradition that is fading fast. *sigh*
MG -- Oh. My. God. You'd think I'd be used to that by now after all these years, but it still blows me away sometimes!
